Intermediate Bidding Practice Sets

You and a partner bid common competitive bidding problems that arise when the opponents overcall. We will practice negative doubles, reopening doubles, opener's rebid in competition, free bids, cue-bids and more.

You and a partner practice common problems that come upafter the opponents open the bidding. We will practice following up after overcalls and take out doubles.

There is an order of operations. First we try to find 8 card major suit fits, then we look for 3NT. If neither of those are possible we go into scramble mode, choosing between a 7 card major suit fit, or as a last resort, 5 of a minor. This set will practice all sorts of game forcing auctions, including 2/1, fourth suit forcing and more.

This Practice set covers a wide assortment of game forcing auctions.  It includes 1NT opening bids, fourth suit forcing and two over one.
