On board 8 we bid Fourth Suit Forcing as you did but bid 3D instead of 6NT. The robot passed. Isn't FSF a game forcing bid?
I tested it, and the exact same thing happened to me. That is absolutely a bug or flaw in the robot. The 3♦ bid is 100% forcing since 2♥ was forcing to game.
Board 3 I was West and had to declare 4♠. I made it by applying the tips from the great lesson on Declaring 4-4 fits. Thank you. That is really an excellent lesson!

Hello Gavin. Board 5. I held the south hand and my partner did invite with 3H after first bidding 1NT. I went on to 4H whereas you suggested a pass in this sequence. Was 4H a crazy bid? I have in mind you saying once with 5-5 shape you accept partner's invitation to game. Unfortunately I misplayed the hand and was down one. Thank you.
It wasnt crazy at all. I actually like it. The issue is that 3♥ should be bid on a wider range of hands than the 12 dummy points that you bought. 2H is such a wide range bid (11-18), we need to make a "courtesy raise" with fewer points sometimes as few as 8-10 dummy points. I am fine with the 4 bid with your hand because your spade points are the AK rather than the QJ. If your majors were reversed I would not like it as much because the QJ of spades are not nearly as useful as the QJ of trumps.
I have a question about Board 4. After 4NT Quantitative and 5D from partner showing key cards, I was stuck. I don't know how many spades my partner has. Do we belong in 6NT or 6S? How does the auction proceed after 5D? I wanted to bid 5NT to give her a choice but I assume 5NT is still the King ask. #2. Good comments about downgrading for 5332 and Jacks - tho can't J's can be useful when partner opened NT?
You cant bid 7 after you make a quantitative 4NT bid. So 5NT isnt needed as a king ask. It should be pick a slam. This will help you find a 5-3 minor fit too. IF you were unsure if partner would understand a 5N bid (I would be unsure if I hadnt talked about it), then you can just jump to 6♠. You already told partner you only have 5 spades, they will know to pick between 6♠ and 6N. Jacks are typically only useful only if partner has 4+ cards in the suit. They more often then not are a wasted point in a suit like KJx opposite AQx. Its more about the fact that if you have all the jacks, it means the 8 points you do not have are more important cards, like K K Q, or A Q Q where you are very likely to end up losing two tricks.
