Hello again - another from me - looked at this set again having done you’re bidding over take-out doubles class - on board 4, isn’t the South hand just good enough to jump to 4H valuing the hand at 12 dummy points or is 3 for the singleton club too much when partner may also be short in clubs for their double ?
Hi Gavin - me again - sorry seem to be hogging the comments - board 6 - after 1H (1S) do you just use the cue bid to show any limit plus raise ? I’m reading an Andrew Robson book at the moment that suggests using the cue bid for a 3 card raise and 2NT (as in Truscott / Jordan over a double) to show a 4 card limit plus raise in this spot. Any comment on pros and cons of these two approaches ?
Hi Gavin - on board 3, as I like to play weak NT, I would open the N hand 1NT and east bids 2D showing a single suit (playing multi Landy as you recommend). South would like to bid Stayman here I think but what would you recommend for this over the artificial 2D ? If you already have a lesson on defence to multi Landy then please just direct me there.
