Thank you for the video. May I ask what is East's HK at Trick 1? Is it showing a heart sequence or diamond preference?
In this spot since we have a known 10 card fit, experts would play this as suit preference. I am guessing the person who played the king just did it to show their partner the queen.
happy to say that i did make 10 tricks, but when i look at the results, someone made 11. any idea how?
The claim button doesn't check to see if you are correct (they are working on it). So if you claimed 13 tricks it would work.
Why didn't west switch to a low diamond? . When East gets in 2 diamonds are available for the defence.
This was an actual problem from the table that I encountered and the defense started with 2 rounds of hearts. A big part of bridge is capitalizing on your opponents mistakes.
